Over the last generation or two it seems our culture has developed an out of balance sense of entitlement. While standing up for what is right is a good thing, it seems to have gone well beyond that. I’d like you to close your eyes and picture this image: Picture a valley that runs through a small set of big hills or tiny mountains. The valley is lush and plentiful; the mountains frame the valley. From atop the mountains you can see miles and miles of winding valley.
